1785 in Ireland and died in Calhoun County 12 Nove 1832. He served
in the East Tennessee militia as an Artificer in Captain William
Christian's Company from 13 Oct 1813 to 13 Jan 1814. Reference

1812 on 22 March, 2004 in Lee Cemetery, Gallant Road, Four Miles East of
Gallant, AL. William Carroll Lee, the son of Needham Lee Sr. and Susan
Bailey, was born 12 Jan 1796 in Hawkins County, Tennessee and died 6 April,
1888. He was a private in Captain Cunningham's Company of Tennessee militia
for which he received a pension. Lee also saw additional service as a Captain
in the Indian Wars. He was married three times: his wives were Mary Bailey
(cousin), Dorcas Littlefield and Sarah Taylor.
Leftwich, Jabez. Brigade Major General in War of 1812. Born 21 Feb 1765
in Bedford County, VA. Promoted to Brigadier General. He married Delilah
Stovall on 21 Feb 1785. He represented Bedford County in the VA House of
Delegates 1801 to 1809. He was elected to the US House of Representatives
from 1821 to 1825. He 1827 he moved to Madison County, AL and served as
a member of the general assembly in 1836 and 1837. He died near Huntsville,
AL on 22 June 1855 and is buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville,
AL. His grave was marked in 1995 by the AS Daughters of 1812.

Looney, John. Served as a sergeant in Captain John Gordon's Mounted Spies in
Tennessee militia. He entered service 24 Sep 1813, was wounded, and discharged
on 27 Dec 1813. He died in Mobile, AL in 1827. His family does not know where
he was buried. His wife, Rebecca, died in 1842 in St. Clair County, AL
