Miller, Samuel, Pvt 2nd reg..West Tennessee militia, Captain Raines and
Col. Hart and Col. Lowry and Lt. Col. Hammons. He enlisted on 20 Sep 1814 in
Fayetteville TN for six months, but ended up serving seven. His service ended
on April 1815. He was born in 1780 in Virginia and died in 1860. He is buried
in the
Holmes Cemetery in Madison County, AL mailing address: Brownsboro, AL
His grave was marked with a VA marker by descendant Berns Miller on
30 August, 2008. His wife was named Sarah. His children were: Margaret Catherine
Miller born 15 Nov 1824 in Alabama and married to Cortland M. Miller, John
Houston Miller born 31 Jan 1828 in Alabama and married to Martha
Ann Brooks and Eunice "Nicie" Caperton, Margaret Frances Parthena Bearden and

Moore, Spencer. War of 1812, Georgia militia. Spencer Moore, born 20 December,
1790 in Sussex County, Delaware, died in what is now Lee County Alabama on
27 July, 1869 and is buried with his wife Susannah Graham, born March 08,
1784 and died August 22, 1846, in the Spencer Moore Cemetery near Lochapoka,
Alabama. Moore descendants, children, are: Seaborne, Elizabeth, Cynthia,
Lucinda, Temperance, Amos, Joseph, Emily, Edwin, Helen, Spencer Greene and
William. Descendant Don Lewey and his wife Mary Lewey visited the Spencer
Moore Cemetery on March 13, 2009. For more information regarding Spencer
